Despite the growing popularity of hard surface flooring in recent years, there’s still nothing else like luxurious, soft carpet. Today’s technologies have greatly improved stain and pet resistance and have made available new tonal color selections and soft patterns that provide a “wow” factor.

Types

Most carpet on the market today contains one of five primary pile fibers: nylon, polyester, polypropylene (olefin), triexta, and wool. Each fiber type offers somewhat different attributes of durability, abrasion resistance, texture retention, stain and soil resistance, colorfastness, ease of cleaning, and color clarity.
